Warranty Policy – Zenva Scooters

General Principles (Applicable Worldwide)

This commercial warranty applies only to parts manufactured or supplied by the manufacturer and covers manufacturing or quality defects only.

The warranty does not cover:
damage caused by misuse, accident, negligence, or improper handling,
incorrect assembly or maintenance,
unauthorized modifications,
water or moisture exposure where excluded,
normal wear and tear (consumables),
damage caused by human error.

Each scooter is inspected before shipment and a pre-shipment inspection video is recorded.

This commercial warranty is additional and does not limit mandatory legal rights, especially for EU consumers.

2. COMMERCIAL WARRANTY – EUROPEAN UNION (EU)

Important Legal Notice (EU)

EU consumers benefit from a mandatory 2-year legal guarantee of conformity under Directive 2019/771/EU.

The component warranties below do not limit or replace the EU legal guarantee.

If a defect qualifies as a lack of conformity under EU law, the 2-year legal guarantee prevails, even if the commercial warranty period has expired.

A. Handlebar Section (EU – Commercial Warranty)

Manufacturing defects only. Damage caused by human error is excluded.

B. Front Assembly (EU – Commercial Warranty)

Component Warranty Steering column, neck, shaft, damper bracket, front arm, brake bracket, bearing housing, aluminum shock absorber bracket 12 months

Front shock absorber, front brake, bearings 6 months

Brake disc & brake pads 3 months (consumables)

C. Electronics (EU – Commercial Warranty)

Water or moisture-related damage excluded
Natural battery capacity degradation excluded

Controllers


12 months
Water/moisture damage excluded
Damage caused by incorrect settings excluded
Any modification of controller parameters voids the warranty

Motors

D. Battery Compartment & Body (EU – Commercial Warranty)

Component Warranty Front, rear & side panels, cover plates, foot brackets, battery compartment 12 months

Acrylic running boards with LED lights 6 months

E. Rear Assembly (EU – Commercial Warranty)

Component Warranty Foot pedals, rear shock absorber bracket, taillight bracket, bearing housing, rear arm, brake bracket 12 months

Rear brake, rear shock absorber, bearings 6 months

Brake disc & brake pads 3 months (consumables)

3. COMMERCIAL WARRANTY – NON-EU COUNTRIES (Americas / Rest of World)

For customers outside the European Union, the following commercial warranty applies exclusively.

A. Handlebar Section (Non-EU)

4. Craftsmanship & Technical Support (Worldwide)

If a customer detects:


malfunction,
wiring issue,
electronic fault,

after delivery, Zenva Scooters provides remote technical assistance, including video support, to diagnose and resolve the issue.

5. Transport & Packaging Damage (Worldwide)
Packaging is inspected before shipment


Packaging photos can be provided upon request

If damage occurs during transportation due to logistics:


Replacement parts are provided free of charge


Shipping costs for replacement parts are not covered

Damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo or video evidence.

6. Warranty Claim Procedure (Worldwide)

Zenva Scooters evaluates the claim and proposes:

repair,
replacement,
or refund (where applicable)
RMA approval is mandatory before any return.

7. Legal Priority Clause (EU Only)

Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes rights granted by mandatory EU consumer law.

In case of inconsistency, EU consumer protection law prevails.
